PRIME DAYS - Int’l Travel Must Haves
I will never recommend anything that I do not trust and believe in. This post contains affiliate links which means if you click on the links below I may gain a small percentage of money at no extra cost to you. Read the full disclaimer here.
Power bank
This is something that I always Travel with especially as a photographer. I want to make sure that my battery is charged up on my phone throughout all of the adventures of the flight and the day.
International wall adapter
This is something that you will need if you Travel outside your own country. I recommend purchasing it before you arrive at your destination. Buying them from the airport or your final destination can be a wee bit spendier
Water bottles
are an absolute necessity if you don't want to have to pay out the nose for a bottle of water at the airport. Biggest tip here is make sure your bottle is empty while going through security. Airports have water filling stations on the otherwise of security. Nic and I use both of the bottles recommended below all the time.
Iron flask insulated water bottle
Brita filtered water bottle
Tech pouch - with 20% redeemable discount.
I am a little bit of an organization freak and like to have everything in there designated spaces. As a photographer I am carrying around extra tech chargers, cards and technology. So having one space for it has been so helpful!
Bagail packing cubes
These packing cubes come in several sizes within the pack. Two small, two medium and two large. We tend to use the small and mediums the most. Small for socks, underwear, undershirts, belts etc. The medium ones are perfect for rest of your outfits for your trip.
TSA approved liquids bag
This one is a great deal to get two TSA approved liquids bags for the price of one. They also come in a plethora of fun colors to choose from.
Bonus: Travel bottles
Toiletries bag
To keep all of those other travel essentials together. Nic and I share a toiletries bag and these are the two that we change between whenever we travel.
Travel pillow
for those log plane rides. It is also a nice comfort of home to bring with you on your trip. I’m not a fan of using the pillows and blankets provided by the flight as I don’t know if they had the time to give out clean/fresh pillows and blankets. So I play on the safe side and bring with my own pillow and blanket.
Headphones & Earbuds
Another essential to travel, especially plane travel. These headphones and earbuds allow for you to plug directly into your seat back entertainment and have noise cancelling which can help you get a better night's sleep.
Budget Noise Cancelling Headphones
Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones
Luggage Locks
Nic and I travel with carry on and personal bag only but you never know if at the gate it may need to go under the plane. But even in the cabin you can't very well keep an eye on your items while you sleep. Whether you are on a plane or in your accommodation having a sense of security with your bags while you sleep or out adventuring is priceless.
