When I look back through all of the photographs that I have captured and collected through the years my favorite ones are the authentic ones. The one’s where it was taken in the spur of the moment. The one’s where you are caught mid snort of a laugh - which you may think would look strange but it turns out to be a genuine moment.

It’s those moments when you feel like no one is there - to “Dance like no one is watching” its the organic and real emotion of the moment and that is what I am here to capture!

Second Shooter

& Videographer

I got started in the photography business by helping my mom as a setup/tear down and grew into her second shooter. I was able to pick up some tricks of the trade from her and when my wife and I decided to create The Hol Idea I was able to use those to help out.

I am a busy person when it comes to hobbies. I have more than I can count but to name a few, I love restoring my 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle, reading sci/fi and fantasy, going on nature outings with my wonderful wife and taking pictures of the great outdoors!

I am a Minnesota girl born and raised who loves to travel and go on an adventure bright and early in the morning or late at night. I introduced Nic to the North Shore and it has become our second home!

We enjoy a cold beer from the local brewery after a long hike or a glass of wine by the fire at night.

We are both animal lovers and owner of five rescues (two dogs, and three cats).

Both of us are grease monkey’s and love to work on classics - My restoration project right now is a 1952 Chevy 4400 Pick Up Truck which I am naming Morrigan. Nic is working on his 1969 Chevelle.

My Family

We have a wonderfully large family consisting of our five rescues.

Our two dogs are; Faye our Border Collie, and Brighid (bree - hid) our Pitty mix. They love to go hiking with us and are great editing buddies.

Our three cats are; Nessa our DSH black cat (our first fur baby), Lily our grey and white tabby, and finally Azhrei (Azz - Ray) our long hair tuxedo (possibly mancoon)cat.
